No Advertising
Would you like to advertise on Smallshock?
Actually, you can’t.
I’ve never been a fan of advertising. I find it annoying. It’s become commonplace for bloggers to pursue advertising on their websites, with the hopes of squeezing a few extra dollars to help make ends meet. But with Smallshock, I want it to be a place you can come and get useful information without advertising getting in the way.
That’s not to say there aren’t ways you can support this website. Here are some ways:
- Retain my services. I’m available for hire to do freelance web design and development for small businesses. You can view my work at rumblestrut.com.
- Purchase through affiliate links. Periodically, there will be links to products which I’ll link to through my affiliate accounts for products and services I or have (or would) actually purchased. There is also the “Recommended” area in the sidebar of the website I think you should look into as well. By purchasing through those affiliate links, it supports the site.
I’d rather not accept advertising for a product or service unless I can give my stamp of approval, and affiliate links take care of that nicely. - Buy a product. I’ll have some books (both in ebook, printed and possibly audio formats) in the near future, filled with additional great content to help you better your web site. I’ll have some free content available as well, but by purchasing premium content from Smallshock, you’ll help further my two personal missions: to help every small business have a better website, and to help get as many businesses online as possible.
- Donate. My favorite carbonated beverage is Diet Mountain Dew
, and a $2 donation would more than pay for a 2-liter bottle to give me enough caffeine to keep me writing well into the night. To donate $2, please click below.
I hope you enjoy Smallshock.com. Thanks for stopping by, and if you’re able to support through any of the above means, I thank you in advance.
